Marc-Antoine Larche

Marc-Antoine Larche

Originally from the Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Marc-Antoine Larche left the boreal forests of the region to discover the flora of Montreal’s urban cultural scene. Ten years later, the Abitibien has carved his songs in intimacy; reminiscing about the north where he grew up. Everyday life inspires him; he magnifies it to de-normalize it in a poetic and figurative way. For Marc-Antoine Larche, love is a long walk in a snowstorm. His voice, at once fragile, poised, drawled, nasal, restrained, always on the verge of bursting into tears, he sings with vivid images. In a decidedly indie style, Marc-Antoine can navigate from folk to grunge to pop dream while exploring the minimalist electro.
