Nominated four times by the ADISQ in the categories ‘female interpreter of the year’, ‘discovery of the year’ and ‘popular show of the year’, Sylvie Bernard presented her show to full houses at the Spectrum and at the Théâtre de Quat’Sous for almost a month, and at La Licorne, Club Soda, the Centre national des Arts, in various Maisons de la Culture and at the Grand Théâtre de Québec. Between 1989 and 1992, she took part in a hundred or so radio and television productions. She is also the first Quebec female interpreter to have a one-hour special in French devoted just to her on the American PBS network. In 1990 she released Marcher sur du verre under the Les Disques Passeport label.
