Originally from the Gaspésie, Nelson Minville doesn’t spend time making his songs heard in all four corners of Quebec. By 1989, he was already attracting the attention of the public and of the critics at the Festival international de la chanson de Granby. He won prizes from the press and for the best original composition. Ever since then, Minville has stood out as a leading lyricist/composer.
